Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a pillar of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which involves the stimulation of strategic points of the horse’s body by inserting extremely thin needles in the skin.

Acupuncture treats different types of pain, especially of the locomotive system. It is also suitable for the therapy of chronic, internal diseases as well as psychological disturbances.

Most horses tolerate the classical treatment with needles very well and owners are surprised by the instant positive reaction of the horse. I have had great success with acupuncture and I am still amazed at how effectively it can be used for many indications!

In most acupuncture treatments I combine the use of needles and the laser. Laser acupuncture is non invasive and is used with horses, which do not tolerate the needles or in areas that are difficult to be treated with needles.
